Glasgow interconnected is made from visualising the coordinates of different airport categories from around the world. I have interconnected all of these to Glasgow using straight lines to represent flights and travel. It aims to raise awareness of harmful carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels required for flying. We are all interconnected via travel and physical movement. With climate change leaders and activists from around the world meeting in Glasgow, it captures a moment in time where the whole world was interconnected via Glasgow.
