This motion graphic was created using a scratch film I found online, it also uses text from the monologue, chemical burn from the film fight club. I used the scratch film to create an aesthetic that is about disorder, as the main character is experiencing dissociate identity disorder. The font I used is called fight this, which is the font used on all the poster work for the film and the films titles itself. I feel using pink is true to the film also as it represents the soap that the main character makes. My project has a mix of order (text) disorder (scratch film). By using pink I feel it lifts the text off and away from the scratched background. I decided to use a little white, to highlight key words that linger or last the longest, in the monologue. The white I feel also helps break up the repetition that would result in using pink only. The white text also adds an element of non-linear to the narrative and adds a more abstract interpretation.
