This project was in response to a client brief for Cryptic. The brief was very broad and there were many themes for the project. I was experimenting with sound using found objects in my home, when I came across wine glasses which are refereed to as glass harps. These glasses when you rub a damp finger around the rim vibrate creating sound. This lead me to create a sound sculpture using wine glasses, I decided to use 3 octaves which meant I needed 36 glasses. The amount of water in each was variable to allow me to have the desired pitch when played. I decided to use three different colours red, yellow and blue to signify each different octave.
